The West London Ball Hockey club closed out their term recently with a parents vs children’s game and also handed out their end of terms awards. In the first game the Senators took on the parents but lost by a 5 – 3 score. Goal scorers for the Senators were Caleb Lawler with 2 and Nathan Lawler with 1. With his two goals Caleb Lawler clinched the goal scoring race for the term finishing with 15 for the term. Second place in the goal scoring race went to James Reid-Thomas with 13 followed by Noa Schinas with 11.

In the other game the Screaming eagles played to a Nil - Nil draw against the parents. Earning the shutout for the Eagles was Logan Street in goal.

After the games were played the end of term awards were handed out with the winners as follows:

· Most Sportsmanlike player

o Under 10’s & 12’s – Noa Schinas

o Under 6’s &8’s – Nat Reid-Smith

· Most improved player

o Forward – Caleb Lawler (who lead the club in goal scoring)

o Defense – John Reid-Smith

o Goalie – Eden Lawler

The West London Ball Hockey Club play at the five-a-side football court on Berners Drive, West Ealing, W13 0JT on Saturday mornings, 9.45 – 10.30am. Children aged four to thirteen are welcome and no equipment is required (we play in Trainers).
