Record shop reopens in lead up to Christmas
Ealing shoppers who are more used to seeing stores closing down in the town centre have welcomed the return of HMV - albeit temporary.
The shop closed down last February but has reopened as a 'pop-up' to take advantage of seasonal trading.
It's one of 10 short-lease stores that the firm is opening to complement its 250 branches nationwide. .
Eight 'fixed-term' seasonal workers have been hired for the duration of the shop's opening.
Store manager Tom Harrison said:
'' It's great to see hmv back in Ealing, albeit for a limited period. We've had a great response from local customers, who I think have missed having a specialist entertainment offer on their doorstep, and we're delighted to be here for all their Christmas shopping needs for music, film and games - as well as personal technology products."
It's expected to remain trading until mid-January
