Have Your Say on the Health Service In Ealing

A consultation on new patients rights'

NHS Ealing is consulting local people on what they think about new rights in the NHS Constitution, potential changes for the future and the new role of Constitution Champion.

In particular the consultation seeks views on new patient rights to  treatment within a maximum of 18 weeks from a GP referral and to be seen by a cancer specialist within two weeks of a GP referral, or where this is not possible, for the NHS to take reasonable steps to offer a range of alternative providers. Other areas of consultation include NHS Health Checks for those aged 40-75 to assess their risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes and kidney disease.
