Harbhajan Singh's death not thought to be suspicious
Police are appealing for information from the public who may have been using the canal tow path between Windmill lane and Poplar Avenue, Southall on Monday 23rd April 2012 from 10:30 p.m. to 02:00 am.
Mr Harbhajan Singh, a 41 year old man from Southall, was found by police in the canal by the Top Lock near Havelock Road Southall.
Despite attempts by the London ambulance service to resuscitate him he was pronounced dead at Ealing Hospital.
A special post mortem took place on Wednesday 25 April 2012 and his death has been confirmed as non-suspicious.
Witnesses who may have seen Mr Singh are asked to contact Detective Sergeant Darren Godwin on 0208 721 7037 at Acton Police Station.
