Green Man Estate Redevelopment Plans

New website for residents

The £137m project to regenerate the Green Man estate in West Ealing now has its own website to encourage residents to become more involved.

The online information will provide regular updates on the project, including dates of meetings and other events and information about the design and construction process.

In partnership with Ealing Council, Rydon, A2Dominion and Conran & Partners are working on initiatives to improve the homes and facilities on the estate.

Current plans will see the phased demolition of the 464 homes on the estate and 346 new properties built for affordable rent and 91 for shared ownership. A further 309 homes are being planned and will be available to buy outright.

In addition the redevelopment is aimed at linking the estate more effectively to West Ealing town centre and contributing to the regeneration of the wider area and community.

Simon Hall, A2Dominion’s head of Community Development, says: “The new website gives residents a central, easily accessible place to find out more about the regeneration process and provide feedback to the regeneration project team".

“It’s an interesting opportunity for residents, as they will learn a great deal about whatever aspect of the project that they choose to be involved in.''

The website is at www.greenmanlane.co.uk.
