Simi Has Bags of Talent

Winner of Ealing's Shopping Centre competition

24-year-old Simi Dhillon has beaten scores of other talented Ealing residents to triumph in a design competition run by Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre to marks its 25th anniversary.

Budding local artists and designers were asked to create an image which in turn would be printed on a recyclable cotton shopping bag to commemorate 25 great years of local shopping.

Simi is studying Marketing & Communications but has always been passionate about art. She loves to spend her time visiting galleries – and Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre of course!

Commented Elizabeth Bell, Centre Manager, Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre: “We were really surprised by both the quality and the quantity of entries. Simi’s design stood out from the crowd. It was both fun and vibrant – qualities that the Centre embraces.”

Simi not only has the thrill of seeing her creation carried with pride by local shoppers, but also receives £500 worth of vouchers to spend at Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre.
