The Big Switch Off

Lights go out on Saturday for Earth hour

Carluccio's in Ealing will be switching off their lights for an hour as part of a national bid to tackle climate change.

The restaurant at The Green, Ealing, will be dark from 8.30-9.30pm on Saturday (March 27) joining millions of people and businesses around the world to support WWF's Earth Hour.

Carluccio's will be using candles instead of electric lights during the hour.

A total of 91 countries have pledged to take part in the big switch off.

Ealing Council hasn't said if it will be taking part.
