The Jim Kahr band play at the Red Rooms

Thursday 13 June sees a special performance of the Jim Kahr Band in Ealing.

Jim hails from the Blues Capital of Chicago and cut his teeth playing alongside the likes of Junior Wells, Carey Bell, Jimmy Rogers, Koko Taylor and Sunnyland Slim.

He toured and recorded with JOHN LEE HOOKER/BOBBY BLUE BAND Revue Orchestra and has backed the likes of Buddy Guy, Lightnin Hopkins and subsequently while residing in California he worked alongside Big Joe Turner, T.Bone Walker, George Smith, Lowell Fulson and Charlie Musslewhite.

The Jim Kahr Band will be joined by a host of guests throughout the evening that include:

8:30pm Old Country Crossfire
9pm Robert Hokum
9:30 Jim Kahr Band

Jim's band is currently touring the UK and is bringing his own sound system and support bands.
