Ealing pub prepares to welcome hundreds of four legged friends

Luna

Over 200 dog owners and their pets will be going walkies and enjoying a party with a difference at the Foresters Pub, on Sunday.

London's biggest dog and cats owners group - Ealing & Hanwell Mutts & Moggies - is having it's annual 'bark off' in the huge beer garden.

Each mutt that attends will receive a bag of treats (provided by Pets At Home) and will be photographed as well and entered into a prize draw.

There will be a mini dog quiz for members , a dog competition, nail bar for dogs, selfie booth & dress up fun for dogs, mutts & moggies themed cupcake stall by the Chelsea cake shop , a raffle with very generous prizes donated by members and local business owners and much more.

Ealing & Hanwell Mutts & Moggies group was started November 2014 by Zoe Karen to share pet related issues with like minded people but primarily to promote animal rescue with the message  "adopt don't buy".

There have been 49 rescue dogs and cats successfully rehomed by group members and many of them will be attending the party.

Over £5000 has been raised by past fundraisers with every penny going to the rescue BARC . This has helped save and treat dogs from kill shelters where hundreds of thousands lose their lives.

There are now over 900 members so it's expected this party will be one of the biggest yet.ones.

You can also meet Luna whose feet were encased in a solid mass of fur which meant she could barely walk but since being rescued has bee completely transformed into a happy little dog .
