25th Anniversary of The Ealing Comedy Festival

A host of well known names taking part under the big top

Ealing Comedy Festival is back for its 25th consecutive year with a line up of internationally renowned comedians and homegrown talent.

Kicking off the line up this year will be ‘The Last Leg’ star Josh Widdicombe. From working on Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer magazine, to selling out three UK comedy tours and bagging regular TV appearances on BBC One's 'Mock The Week' and Channel 4's '8 Out Of 10 Cats', Josh has come a long way in recent years. Alongside running his own BBC Three sitcom ‘Josh’, he recently hosted one-off comedy show ‘Josh Widdicombe Will Make Your Life Better’ on BBC Radio 2, alongside presenter and comedian Harry Hill.

Joining Josh will be the champion of surrealist one-liners, Milton Jones. With multiple series of his Silver Sony Award-winning radio show and appearances on ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’, ‘Live at the Apollo’, and Dave’s ‘One Night Stand’ behind him, Milton promises to deliver a side-splitting show in July.

Meanwhile, Ealing resident and stand-up star Shappi Khorsandi will be making a long-awaited return to the festival, following the release of her critically acclaimed novel, Nina is Not OK, while award-winning US comedian Reginald D. Hunter will also be welcomed to the stage.

Other acts to join the line up include Nish Kumar, Stephen K. Amos, Jo Caulfield, Paul Zerdin, Jake Lambert, Tom Stade and Joanne McNally, with many more listed below and others yet to be announced.

To celebrate the 25th year of the comedy festival, the gala evenings - 26th and 27th July - will feature comics who have performed throughout the festival's history.
