Suspected Drug Dealer Arrested in W7


Police execute search warrant in Hanway Road

A 24 year old man has been arrested after police from Hobbayne Safer Neighbourhoods Team seized a quantity of drugs - thought to be cocaine.

Officers executed a search warrant at a property in Hanway Road, W7 on June 1st.

They found:
A large quantity of suspected class A powder believed to be cocaine.
Four (4) bags of suspected class A drugs believed to be cocaine
One (1) golf ball sized wrap of powder believed to be cocaine
40 wraps of class A substances believed to be cocaine
Three (3) plastic carrier bags containing what we believe to be herbal cannabis

Officers also discovered drug paraphernalia, grinders, small resealable bags and electronic weighing scales.

All these items together with the suspect's mobile phone and £500 in cash were also seized.

A man, aged 24, was arrested.

Sergeant James Ayling, Hobbayne Safer Neighbourhoods Team said 'This is an excellent result for the officers and they deserve the praise as this result shows what Safer Neighbourhoods officers can achieve'.
