Based on the book The Sheep-Pig by Dick King-Smith, this 1995 family film tells the story of a pig who wants to be a sheep dog.

From writer Nick Hornby who brought us About a Boy and High Fidelity, a coming-of-age drama set in 1960s London.

9.00pm The late show: PAN’S LABYRINTH (15)
Three Academy Awards, the Ariel Award for Best Picture and the 2007 Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, Long Form.
A 2006 Spanish language fantasy film, written and directed by Mexican film-maker Guillermo del Toro, the narrative of the film interweaves the real world of post-civil war Spain with a fantasy world centred around an overgrown abandoned labyrinth and a mysterious faun creature.
