well nearly! The official Ealing centre tree is lit

Dozens of people enjoyed entertainment, festive food and drinks at the switch on of the Ealing Christmas tree lights tonight (Thursday 19th Nov) at Christ The Saviour Church.

Sponsored by Ealing Broadway BID with drinks, mince pies and chocolates provided by Tesco this is the 3rd year the event has taken place and appears to be growing in popularity.

There was a lively song and dance performance by Rock Choir

 

The Mayor and Father Christmas performed a countdown ...

...and, as the children squealed excitedly, the tree was lit up!

It may seem early but there's only 30 days left.

Better get shopping!
