Ealing Council Car Parks Free

Motorists encouraged into town centres to help trade

The busiest trading weekends of the year are coming up and shoppers can benefit from free council car parks.

There are three in the centre; Perceval House, Springbridge Road multi-storey and Ealing Town Hall, with others in West Ealing, Hanwell and South Ealing.

Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre car park is privately run and will charge as normal.

Last weekend the car park was already full by lunchtime with vehicles tailing outside the centre. A centre spokesperson Ellie Hernaman urges everyone to be patient.

''It will be busy in the lead up to Christmas so like most busy town centre car parks there will be times when there will be queuing and we would ask that customers are patient.

The entry barriers rise if and when there are spaces available, if the car park is full the barriers will raise when a car or cars exit the car park freeing up more spaces.''
