Bus Driver Assaulted by Cyclist


Did you witness the incident in February?

Police are appealing for witnesses after an E8 bus driver was attacked by a cyclist.

The incident happened on the route along Uxbridge Road, W7 on Monday 18 February at about 12pm.

The bus pulled into a bus stop for passengers to board and the suspect, who was cycling behind the bus, rode passed and punched the left hand wing mirror.

The driver got out of his cab to re-position the wing mirror and was approached by the suspect, now on foot, who punched him in the mouth, before cycling away.

The victim did not require medical attention.

The suspect is described as an black male, wearing all black clothing, riding a blue bicycle.
