Congratulations to Chris Gilson from West Ealing Neighbours

It's the simple ideas that are often the best and there couldn't be anything more simple than swapping books.

All credit to West Ealing Neighbour's Chris Gilson who got the ball rolling at West Ealing station in May last year - one which has really caught on.

Several thousand books have exchanged hands since then and Chris is now on a mission to make the swapping London-wide.

Boris Johnson is looking at the possibility of extending the scheme so that there could be books at every tube and train station by the opening of the Olympics.
