Find Out About The Plans For Walpole Park

Saturday 29th January

Residents and visitors are invited to attend a presentation of Ealing Council’s plans for Walpole Park.

The council’s parks service will present designs for Walpole Park, along with proposals for long term maintenance work and future activities planned. The presentation will take place at Pitzhanger Manor House and Gallery on Saturday, 29 January 3 - 4.30pm. There will also be a creative workshop for children to design and build models of their ideal playground for the newly designed park.

The proposals, once completed, will be presented as part of the council’s application for funding under the heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and Big Lottery Fund (BIG) joint Parks for People scheme. To date, the scheme for Walpole Park has received development funding of £210,100 to help the council to submit an application for a further £1.9 funding in February.

Councillor Kamaljit Dhindsa, cabinet member for Customer and Community Service, said: “The plans for the park are really exciting and we want to give residents a chance to feedback their ideas and comments on the future of the park and its facilities.”

To book a place for the workshop or to attend the presentation contact the parks service on 020 8825 6742 or send an email to pmgwp@ealing.gov.uk.
