An Ealing film director and screenwriter is looking for co-writers and a production company to help get a new TV drama series on air.

Rob Hurtt has written a one hour screenplay of a pilot episode of ‘I Dream Of Amber Falls’ which he described as ‘a weird and wonderful, spooky soap/crime drama set in the English Lake District’.

He is to be pitching it at major UK broadcasters and is currently on the lookout for support from a London-based TV production company and is also searching for more writers to work on the series.

Rob has made a number of highly acclaimed short films including ‘The Lock Keeper’ which was described as ‘very, very dark and very funny too’ and ‘Come Outside’ which Ricky Gervais said was the strangest thing he had ever seen.

Rob said, “Ealing has such a wonderful film history and it is about time that classic, innovative and edgy films and TV are produced here once again. My work will put Ealing back on the map!”

Anyone who wishes to support the project in any way can email their interest to him at rob_hurtt@hotmail.com or call on 07936 592 411 or 07783 648 481.
