Police say they were called to Elthorne Park on Boston Road in W7 at just before 4pm this afternoon (Tuesday 4th October) following reports that a man had been robbed and injured.
It's believed the man was stabbed but it's not yet known his condition.
Students from the nearby Elthorne High School are thought to have discovered the injured man who was found not far from the canal - they alerted police and paramedics.
London Ambulance Service say they sent a car and an ambulance to Westlea Road in W7 and took a man in his 50s to hospital suffering from stab wounds.
