Conservatives hold off Liberal Democrat Challenge
The Conservative party have managed to hold onto their Council seat in Cleveland ward in the by-election that followed the death of their Councillor Brian Castle.
Gregory Stafford (pictured right) will now represent the seat on the Borough Council after fighting off a stiff challenge from Liberal Democrat candidate Francesco Fruzza.
The by-election was called following the death of sitting Councillor Brian Castle.
