A member of staff at the HSBC bank on Ealing Broadway was assaulted during a robbery that took place this Tuesday (4 July) lunch time.

At around 12.15pm the victim was carrying a cash box to a van when a man approached and punched him in the face taking the box. He then got on the back of the back of a moped which was ridden away by a second male.

The member of staff was not seriously hurt. No weapons were seen or intimated. The branch was cordoned off for much of the afternoon.
