This year's 'best ever' IMPACT Oscars held in Perivale

IMPACT Theatre staged its annual Oscars ceremony on 6 March at the Royal Nawaab in Perivale, bringing together performers, families, supporters and a host of well-known names for a glittering celebration of neurodivergent creativity. The event, described by some attendees as the best IMPACT Oscars yet, honoured achievements across 32 categories spanning the performing and creative arts.
The evening opened with video messages from celebrities who were unable to attend in person, including footballer Chloe Kelly and actors Alice Eve, Sharon Maughan, Trevor Eve, Adrian Dunbar and Kerry Godliman. Their messages set the tone for a night that blended glamour with heartfelt recognition of the performers’ work.
A distinguished line-up of presenters handed out awards throughout the ceremony. BAFTA-winning set designer Eve Stewart, actor and choreographer Kat B, directors Brett Fallis and Anthony Thomas, and award-winning film composer Emily Rice all took to the stage to celebrate the winners. The event also received strong community backing, with Ealing Golf Club sponsoring raffle prizes alongside contributions from Sharon Maughan.
Local civic leaders were among the guests, including the Mayor of Ealing, Anthony Kelly, Deputy Lieutenant of Ealing Richard Kornicki, and councillors Munir Ahmed, Charan Sharma and Tariq Mahmood. Their presence underscored the importance of IMPACT’s work within the borough.
The ceremony concluded with music and signed-dance performances before the celebrations moved to the dancefloor for a disco. The atmosphere was one of pride, joy and collective achievement.

Artistic Director Kim Mughan said the Oscars night is the culmination of months of preparation and community support. “Oscar celebrations at IMPACT take a lot of organising, and support from many people,” she said. “However, when the night arrives it is so worthwhile seeing the ecstatic looks on the faces of our performers and artists and their families when their achievements and efforts are celebrated at such a glittering occasion.”
