Firefighters quickly get blaze under control
The A40 was closed earlier this morning (25th June) after a 4x4 caught fire near Greenford Roundabout leading to substantial traffic disruption in West London during rush hour.

London Fire Brigade were called to the blaze just after 8am and firefighters dealt with the fire quickly getting it under within half an hour. One fire engine from Northolt attended.
The car was completed destroyed by the fire but there are no reports of anyone being injured.
The A40 has since reopened but there continue to be delays in the area.
