Ealing Broadway Train Victim Named


Inquest opens at West London Coroner's Court

A man who died after being struck by a train at Ealing Broadway station has been named as Charles Lanek -  a father of two - from Chiswick.

The 45 year old from Gladstone Road died instantly after being hit by the Heathrow Express.

Police cars, ambulances and fire crews were called to the station at 12:10pm and an air ambulance helicopter landed on Haven Green.

An inquest into the married man's death was opened and adjourned at West London Coroner's Court yesterday pending further enquiries.
