David Bright takes "An Armchair Tour of Brentford"
Do you   collect postcards of West London, or naughty cards by Donald McGill?   Scotland or The Titanic? Whatever interests you in postcards or local   history, the West London Postcard Club cater for it. Non-members are   welcome at their meetings on payment of £2.
          
They meet usually on the 3rd Friday of every month (except   January and August) at Chiswick Town Hall, Heathfield Terrace, London W4   4JN, and they always have an invited dealer, with stock, from 7.15pm   onwards, and a speaker at 8pm. (Recent talks have ranged from "Buffalo   Bill's British Wild West" to "Breweries in the Borough of Hounslow" -   and from "The Beijing Olympics" to "New Zealand Railways".) 
The next meeting is on Friday 21st February, when David Bright, a   Hounslow Heritage Guide, will be taking "An Armchair Tour of   Brentford", concentrating  on the river and canal related industries of   the area.
 They also run a Postcard Fair twice a year as well as a couple of   outings, and all members receive a quarterly newsletter. The next   Postcard Fair will be at Chiswick Town Hall on Saturday 15th March, with   hundreds of thousands of cards for sale, old and modern, as well as   stamps, ephemera and cigarette cards.
