Experience a truly hair-raising half term with Halloween SpOOkfest

All week from 20th-28th October, families can follow the creepy creatures trail, make some gruesome crafts and brave the ghost train, with the narrow gauge Waterworks Railway in steam every day.

Learn all about the wonderful world of water in the interactive Waterworks Gallery and Splash Zone and find out more about the historic Kew Bridge Waterworks site where the people and engines helped make London the city it is today. Make a day of it with a picnic in the garden, some terrifying treats in our cafe and some suitably spooky gifts from the shop.

Visitors can also see the steam water pumping engines in action over the weekend of 27th-28th October when the rotative and Bull Cornish beam engines will be in steam.
And that’s not all…
There’s also something creepy planned for theatre lovers, when the acclaimed ImmerCity production, Silhouette in the Smoke, returns to the Museum for a Halloween run.
The production offers an immersive theatre experience unlike any other, with a murder mystery specially written for the Museum which needs YOU to help find the killer in the company of master of the supernatural, Jack Daw.
Come dressed in Victorian costume on 31st October for added atmosphere!
Tickets for 16+ only, which include a Victorian High Tea, are available now on the Immercity website. Places are available for 16, 17, 30 October with other dates sold out.

All characters and events in the production are works of fiction.
