OWGRA to discuss Nishkam school and Bolder academy at its AGM

OWGRA (Osterley & Wyke Green Residents' Association) is holding its AGM and a Public Meeting on Local School Travel Plans and Traffic Management on Wednesday 23 May, at 7.15 pm, at Isleworth & Syon School, Ridgeway Road, TW7 5LJ.

The Nishkam School and Bolder Academy open in just over 3 months time in September 2018 in their new locations (Nishkam on the site of the old Conquest Club between Wood Lane and Syon Lane, and Bolder at the current site occupied by Nishkam on the corner of London Road and Wood Lane).  To prevent traffic chaos around the new Nishkam site, the Council have been holding a consultation on extending the Red Route to prevent drop-off and pick-up along Wood Lane, Jersey Road and Syon and adjoining cul-de-sacs, and secure the use of the Park & Stride sites at Wyevale Garden Centre and Tesco.  The results of that consultation will be presented at the meeting as well as the Travel Plans for the two schools.
