Launch walk of The Changing Face of Brentford

Hounslow Heritage Guides have announced their programme for the year.
All Brentford Walks start at the corner of the High Street and the Half Acre, last up to 2 hours and return to the same place. There’s no need to book, just turn up before 2.30pm and pay the £3 cost to the Guide. Children go free.

29th Bank Holiday Monday: The Changing Face of Brentford +
This is a  linear walk that starts at the corner of the High Street and the Half Acre  (Goddard’s Corner) at 2.30pm and finishes at Kew Bridge.
        
The walk  will explore some of the older and less well known parts of Brentford and its  fascinating history as a market town and industrial centre alongside the huge  changes over the years to a growing and increasingly high rise modern  residential Thames side location.
