BASHR3 public meeting to Stop Heathrow Expansion

Government support for a 3rd runway at Heathrow was announced one year ago this month. Hounslow’s dedicated anti-expansion group, BASH, is marking the occasion with a public meeting in the centre of Hounslow on 26th October, 7.30pm.
Dave Waller, the group’s co-ordinator, urges local people to come along:
"We have three great speakers, people with real influence in the fight against the 3rd runway.  We are delighted that our panel includes Tahir Latif who represents Heathrow workers in the PCS Union. The union opposes expansion, saying that there is little real evidence supporting the extravagant promises made about jobs. All three speakers believe we must - and can - persuade enough MPs to get this disastrous proposal rejected."
Speakers:-
Ruth Cadbury – MP for Brentford & Isleworth and founding member of BASH
Tahir Latif – Public and Commercial Services (PCS) Union (Aviation Group President)
John Stewart – Chair of HACAN (Heathrow Association for the Control of Aircraft Noise)
At Montague Public Hall, 30 Montague Road, Hounslow TW3 ILD
          The centre is wheelchair accessible.

BASH (Brentford & Hounslow Stop Heathrow Expansion) is a community campaign group based in Brentford and a member of the No 3rd Runway Coalition.  For a copy of the poster featured here, send your name and address to:-
