Exciting expansion for Acton's most eco-friendly creative business
ReVampt has moved into a fabulous studio in the Perfume Factory (Phase 2) on the edge of Park Royal estate. Once owned by Mary Quant, Phase 2 itself dates back to the 1930’s.
They are having a Launch party on Friday 9th July from 6-9pm. Everyone welcome to help Re-Vampt launch a new venture. RSVP
Sarah Baulch, who created the business is joined by a new collaborator Alex Watson, an upholsterer.
A series of workshops are being run throughout June and early July. The first one on Thursday June 17th 7-9pm is free.
This first workshop is really about how to sew, as many people want to but don’t have the skills. Either by using a sewing machine or hand stitching, everyone attending will take home a great little pin cushion. With the added benefit of being an eco friendly item too. See below for further details of these exciting workshops.
Sarah and Alex have transformed the light and airy 300 sq ft space into a gorgeous palace of delights with the beautiful fabrics and accessories they have accumulated displayed to inspire them and their visitors.
Alex Watson works exclusively with vintage furniture, re-purposing fine pieces to give them a new lease of life.
The pair will be working together on a Patchwork furniture range, adding to ReVampt's portfolio, which will launch in September.
ReVampt is an eco friendly company, working with materials and accessories which are the un-used off-cuts and samples from the textile and fashion industries -from Topshop to local curtain-makers.
Anything made by Re-Vampt is not only lovely to look at but lovely for the planet too.
