Man in Serious Condition after Stabbing in Shalimar Gardens

Two held after attack on Wednesday morning

At 1:02am Wednesday 23rd May Police were called to outside 27a Shalimar Gardens, off Horn Lane, to reports of a stabbing.

 

Officers arrived to find a 36-year-old black man suffering from stab wounds. The man was taken by ambulance to the West Middlesex Hospital and he was later transferred to Paddington Hospital. His condition is described as serious.

 

Police believe more than one person attacked the man during an altercation that occurred around 1:00am. They are keeping an open mind as to the motive for the attack.

Two people, a woman in her 30's and a man in his 50's have been arrested in connection with this incident and remain in custody at a west London police station.

One resident said: "A man was stabbed in the neck about 1am this morning. A domestic I think. I live in Shalimar Gardens and I heard him shouting in the middle of the road this morning. There was loads of police and ambulances and there was a holicoptor flying really low. The man was apparently in a bad state. I heard he is stable this morning."

 

Police are conducting house-to-house enquiries.
