Acton's Easter Bunny Trail Returns for its Fourth Year

Families across Acton are gearing up for one of the town centre’s most popular holiday traditions as the Easter Bunny Trail returns for its fourth year. The hunt, which runs from 26 March to 12 April, invites children and parents to explore local shops and spot a series of hidden bunnies and giant eggs.
A total of 25 bunnies have been tucked away inside participating businesses across Acton High Street, Gunnersbury Lane, Churchfield Road, Market Place and The Vale. Five giant eggs have also been placed around the town centre, offering bonus points for eagle-eyed explorers.
The trail, organised by Your Acton BID, has become a firm favourite with families and traders alike, drawing hundreds of participants each year. Local businesses display official Easter Trail posters in their windows, encouraging families to step inside, search for the bunny and write down its name on their map.
Participants can pick up an official trail map from local coffee shops, Act One Cinema or download it online. Once the hunt is complete, families can hand in their entry forms at the collection point inside Act One Cinema’s café on Acton High Street.
Children who find 10 bunnies will receive a free chocolate treat (while stocks last), and those who manage to track down all 25 will be entered into a prize draw to win an Easter hamper packed with goodies. The winners will be announced during the week of 15 April.
Families can also earn an extra entry into the hamper draw by sharing a photo of themselves taking part in the trail on social media, tagging @YourActonBID and using the hashtag #ActonBunnyTrail.
The trail is designed not only as a fun holiday activity but also as a way to encourage families to explore Acton’s independent shops and cafés. Organisers say the event has grown each year, with businesses keen to take part and welcome young “Acton explorers.”
Maps can be downloaded via the Your Acton BID website, and the trail is free to join.
